WalshDoc Biotype Questionnaire Assessment + Supplement Plan
This consultation is for patients who have completed the WalshDoc Biotype Questionnaire and would like a symptom-based assessment with supplement recommendations, without ordering labs at this time.
OBJECTIVE FOR THIS CONSULTATION
The Biotype Questionnaire Assessment is designed to provide a practical Walsh-oriented supplement plan based on symptom patterns identified in the questionnaire.
The main focus is to identify the most common Walsh biotype patterns, especially copper overload, pyroluria, and undermethylation. When copper overload or pyroluria patterns are present, the plan typically emphasizes supportive nutrients used in the Walsh Approach to help improve zinc/copper balance, stress tolerance, and nervous system regulation.
This assessment also reviews evidence of undermethylation and may include nutrients, enzymes, and cofactors involved in methylation pathways. However, methylation can be more complex than symptoms alone can fully determine.
For the greatest accuracy, lab-based assessment options are also available. The Comprehensive Walsh Panel helps clarify copper/zinc balance, pyroluria, histamine, homocysteine, vitamin D, CBC/CMP patterns, and related treatment factors. The Genova Methylation Panel provides a deeper look at SAM/SAH balance, methionine status, methylation efficiency, glutathione support, and related metabolic pathways. When ordering these labs, which correspond with the WalshDoc Biotype Questionnaire, for a full assessment, select this Consultation.
Patients may start with this questionnaire-based consultation as a practical first step, then add labs later to confirm whether the supplement strategy is optimal.
HOW IT WORKS
First, complete the WalshDoc Biotype Questionnaire. The questionnaire provides a preliminary symptom analysis.
If this consultation is ordered afterward, the questionnaire findings are reviewed more completely and converted into a written assessment with supplement recommendations.
This consultation does not include lab testing. Labs can be added later for a more detailed and individualized review.
BEST FIT FOR
This option is best for patients who want a practical starting plan without ordering labs first. This may include non-US residents without easy access to testing, budget-conscious patients who prefer to begin nutrient therapy before lab work, or cases where blood drawing is not practical.
It is also a good fit when symptoms strongly suggest copper overload, pyroluria, undermethylation, or related Walsh biotype patterns, and the patient wants to begin with the most practical supportive nutrient strategy.
Labs can still be ordered later to confirm the pattern, monitor progress, and determine whether the supplement plan should be adjusted.
ALTERNATIVE OPTIONS
For a more detailed symptom-based review of Biotype + Methylation a questionnare that identifies methylation impediments and symptoms includes an assessment of creatine demand, mitochondrial stress, toxic burden, and related supplement strategy, the Biotype + Methylation / Toxic Burden Questionnaire . For this combined symptoms only assessment, this atlernative Consultation is recommended.
That questionnaire is designed to identify symptoms that may correspond to the findings commonly evaluated through both the Comprehensive Biotype Panel and the Genova Methylation Panel, including SAM/SAH balance, methionine status, methylation efficiency, glutathione support, creatine demand, mitochondrial stress, and related metabolic pathways. When ordering those labs here, for a full assessment including labs, select this Consultation option.
