Walsh Approach Lab Testing
Walsh Approach lab testing evaluates the biochemical patterns associated with undermethylation, overmethylation, copper overload, pyroluria, zinc deficiency and related nutrient or metabolic imbalances. Testing may include whole-blood histamine, copper, ceruloplasmin, plasma zinc, homocysteine, urinary pyrroles, vitamin D, CBC and metabolic chemistry.
More advanced biotype lab tests can extend the evaluation with plasma methylation markers such as SAM, SAH, methionine and homocysteine, along with toxic-element and mineral testing when deeper investigation is needed.
Which test should you choose?
Start with the Comprehensive Biotype Panel for a broad Walsh assessment. If undermethylation is already suspected and you want more detailed information to guide an individualized nutrient strategy, consider the Genova Plasma Methylation Panel, which provides a deeper look at SAM, SAH, methionine, homocysteine and related methylation markers.
