Biotype Consultation – Prior Labs

Consultation and Biotype Report  (patient supplies lab report)

When a full panel of tests labs are provided by the patient for evaluation by Dr Epstein, select this option. This is often the case when a patient asks their doctor to do tests for a Walsh Protocol but is seeking a Walsh Trained physician to provide a detailed evaluation. Tests typically evaluated for the Walsh-Approach with this consultation may be found at the Comprehensive Biotype Panel.  If you would prefer your own doctor to order these tests then please show them the list of tests and codes from that panel. Second Opinion Physician does not provide diagnosis or codes for insurance billing prior to lab testing. So, if your primary doctor or insurance company will reimburse the diagnosing doctor or lab directly this may be a best option. Please keep in mind that for most accurate reporting, the labs listed on the panel should be provided. For most accurate reporting, histamine must be "whole blood" and zinc must be "plasma." Our preferred lab is Lab Corp.

In all cases, patients will be asked to complete a Telemedicine Consent Form and Questionnaire. Links and further instructions will also be sent by email once the Consultation has been ordered.

Physician Consultation Options for Walsh Protocol
